What MEA registration covers
A registered Recruitment Agent is authorised to source, screen and coordinate the deployment of Indian workers for approved overseas employment, operating within the framework of the eMigrate system — the government's platform for tracking and regulating emigration for employment.

What it does not mean
MEA registration authorises an agency to act as a Recruitment Agent — it does not mean the agency acts on behalf of, or with the authority of, the government.
